This is a forum for participating schools to: report weekly recycling data; update Wildlife Learning Company on the progress of their school's program; ask questions of/provide support for students in other schools regarding their program.

County Fair Recycling Initiative

In 2007, this exciting environmental education service-learning project involves HS youth from Otsego and Chenango Counties to develop and implement a full-service, professional recycling program at their County Fairs this coming summer. Wildlife Learning Company is working to replicate this model project throughout New York State over the next decade.

Open Trash Burning

This is an area where people can learn about the rural practice of open trash burning and the detrimental effects of this practice on our environment as well as on human health. Please feel free to post your thoughts on this topic and share your personal experiences. We would love to have people share their suggestions and ideas for ways to realistically adress this issue as well.
