Everyone is saying, ‘it just feels like spring!’ …and what a good feeling that is, but wait there is more…

BIG NEWS – Duncraven Farms Dairy will deliver milk to the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market on Saturdays if they have 25 customers. If you drink milk, as in, whole, 2%, skim, ($2.50/half gallon) or chocolate ($3.50/half gallon) you may want to sign up. Also available, pints of heavy cream and light cream (commonly known as half-n-half). There is a $2.50 refundable deposit for the half-gallon glass bottle.To sign up for the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market delivery, please call (607)547-6195 or send email to Lyn Weir at market@otsego2000.org.

…also this week from Heller’s Farm, mushrooms are back.  Hare and Feather has sweet italian sausage, both the chicken and the goat varieties. Also stewing hens if you are in the mood for soup. And with all this warm weather, Gaia’s Breath Farm will have a braising GREENS and  mixed GREENS for salad .

Your favorites will also be on hand …LOCAL flour, dried beans, dried apples, cold pressed oil, pickles, grape juice, sauerkraut, salsa, jams and jellies, maple syrup, and honey. …along with herbal soaps, lotions, a variety of wool yarns, knitwear, goat skins, and felted accessories. FRUITS and VEGETABLES at the market this week include apples, pumpkins, squashes, garlic, shallots, potatoes, and onions.
