snowman

…Sixteen vendors will stock the shelves at the market tomorrow!

NEW this week from Gaia’s Breath Farm, a special veal sausage flavored with fresh Meyers lemons and herbs. They also have fresh pork, all cuts, plus both fresh sweet and hot Italian sausage, also bratwurst, veal pastrami, and Bresaola. The market also has a great selection of beef, lamb, venison and poultry, a wide variety of cheeses, and eggs.

A bounty of home BAKED TREATS this week from the kitchen of Kathleen at Acrosphire Farm includes my personal favorites, the ginger molasses cookies with the chunks of ginger, mmmm… and the heavenly Cinnamon Horn pastry. Kathleen is also now serving hot ORGANIC COFFEE. And when it comes to my favorite baked goods, Joan at Middlefield Orchards makes a very fine brownie, and an extraordinary Lemon Rosemary bread.

We also have …LOCAL flour, dried beans, dried apples, cold pressed oil, pickles, grape juice, sauerkraut, salsa, jams and jellies, maple syrup, and honey. …along with herbal soaps, lotions, a variety of wool yarns, knitwear, goat skins and felted accessories.

FRUITS and VEGETABLES at the market this week include apples, pumpkins, squashes, garlic, potatoes, and onions. The next crop of mushrooms will be ready again for the February 4th market.

See you at the market!

At the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market you can look forward to the quality items local customers have come to expect.  The selection is wonderful, from seasonal fruits and vegetables to all cuts of local meats and fresh poultry. We also have a bounty of local eggs, cheeses, and yogurt, honey and maple syrup, home-baked sweets and treats, flowers and greenery, as well as handmade crafts, like candles, soaps and much much MORE!
